Boyd Coddingtons
"American Hot Rod" Shop
12-12-07
The trip to Boyd Coddingtons "American Hot Rod" Shop was
absolutely the best trip I have ever had
Walking into Boyds' was a dream come true.
If felt as if it were "hallowed ground"
As a fan of hotrods for years since I saw the made for tv movie
"The California Kid" I was hooked on the essence of hotrodding.
I know that Boyd Coddington didnt build "The California Kid" but as a fan of
the tv show "American Hot Rod" and previously mentioned hotrods in
general, It was a true once in a lifetime experience.
I was treated as if I were family and very very nice people.
Melissa at the counter was very kind and helpful.
She was able to get me a quick tour of the shop and meet boyd himself
while they were in a photo shoot out in the back.
Boyd himself took the time to chat and make me feel very welcome.
I felt that I was just as important as a customer who wanted to buy a
car or have one made.
Truly down to earth people.
I did get some of the guys' autographs on my Boydster II
Rc Hot Rod, including Boyd himself.
Boyd and the Crew, THANKS.
I did miss getting to meet Jo, but I know she is a very busy person
Maybe another day that I am nearby.
Boyd, you will be dearly missed sir
Please enjoy the photos I ask that you as a viewer....
DO NOT COPY THESE FOR ANY REASON.
